The highlight of our undergraduate degree courses is the individual capstone project. In all the student spends 450 hours throughout the academic year, reporting to their academic tutor, and in the case of company projects, to a company mentor. This MSc allows you to focus your studies and combine different AI topics to suit your personal requirements and future plans. Our world-class teaching, research and industrial contacts will support you as you learn to understand fundamental AI concepts. You will study universal machine learning tools essential for any AI job profile, as well as specific practical and research skills on all five of the AI topics.

Teaching combines lectures, seminars, and tutorials, fostering comprehensive understanding and independent study. The programme is accredited by the British Computer Society, fulfilling academic requirements for registration as a Chartered IT Professional and Chartered Engineer. Graduates are poised to contribute meaningfully to the AI-driven industries of the future. This module is intended to serve as an introduction to machine ai engineering degree learning and pattern processing, but with a clear emphasis on applications. The module is themed around the notion of data as a resource; how it is acquired, prepared for analysis and finally how we can learn from it. The module will employ a practical Python-based approach to try and help students develop an intuitive grasp of the sophisticated mathematical ideas that underpin this challenging but fascinating subject.
